Jeffrey Shapack, founder & CEO
Jeffrey Shapack is the founder & CEO of Shapack Partners. Founded in 2009, Shapack Partners has asserted itself as a leader in the creation of Fulton Market district.
Jeff graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He is a board member of the Chicago Artists Coalition and lives in Lincoln Park with his wife and three daughters.
SETH HALPERN, principal & general counsel
Seth Halpern joined Shapack Partners in the summer of 2013 as its General Counsel. Seth's duties include tending to all legal matters of the company, including the negotiation, legal due diligence and closing of all real estate acquisitions and dispositions as well as the day to day management, leasing activities and general corporate affairs of the company. In January 2015, Seth became a Principal of Shapack Partners.
Prior to joining Shapack Partners, Seth practiced law at Horwood, Marcus and Berk Chartered and Timm & Garfinkel, LLC, where he represented clients in the purchase, development, operation, financing, leasing and disposition of real property in Illinois as well as throughout the United States.
Seth received his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a B.A. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He lives in Deerfield with his wife and two children.
PAIGE HENNESSY, director
Paige Hennessy joined Shapack Partners in the fall of 2014 as an Associate bringing more than seven years of real estate experience to the company. Paige's responsibilities include the evaluation, structuring and due diligence of acquisitions as well as the asset management of Shapack Partners portfolio assets. In January 2016, Paige became a Director of Shapack Partners.
Prior to joining Shapack Partners, Paige worked at Jones Lange LaSalle as an Associate in the Office Investment Sales group focusing on the disposition and recapitalization of offices assets located in Chicago and other Midwestern urban downtown submarkets. At JLL she facilitated the pre-marketing of due diligence, underwriting and offering materials production, helping to bring more than 9.5 million square feet and $2.5 billion in value of properties to market.
Paige also worked at Cresa, a national real estate brokerage firm focusing solely on tenant representation, as a Senior Advisor from 2009 to 2013 providing real estate brokerage and advisory services to a myriad of clients, ranging from start-up companies to Fortune 500 corporations. Paige began her real estate career as an intern with Walgreen Company in their real estate division.
Paige graduated from the University of Notre Dame from the Mendoza College of Business with a B.B.A. in 2009. An active member in several Chicago non-profits, Paige sits on the Associate Board of The Cara Program and the Steering Committee for the Greater Chicago Food Depository’s Commercial Real Estate Awards Dinner. She is an Illinois Licensed Real Estate Broker and is a native Chicagoan.
CHLOE REAUMOND, senior vice president of leasing
Chloe Reaumond joined Shapack Partners in 2017 as Senior Vice President of Leasing bringing more than ten years of real estate experience to the company. Chloe’s responsibilities include marketing and leasing of Shapack Partners’ existing and proposed office portfolio as well as assisting with the development process for office, retail, hospitality and residential projects.
Prior to working at Shapack Partners, Chloe worked at Sterling Bay where she focused on the lease up of 1K Fulton with Google as the anchor Tenant, significant pre-leasing at the Fulton West development and most recently the McDonald’s corporate headquarter relocation to the former Harpo Studio site. She also served as Vice President at CBRE for eight years, where she focused on office leasing of adaptive re-use and value-add product.
Chloe graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a B.A. in Psychology. She is an Illinois Licensed Real Estate Broker and lives in Chicago with her husband Paul. Additionally, Chloe served as the Chairwoman of the 2016 Greater Chicago Food Depository Commercial Real Estate Awards Dinner which raised a record breaking $1.28 million. She is currently a member of the Greater Chicago Food Depository CREA Steering Committee and a Board Member of Children at the Crossroads Scholarship Foundation for the Frances Xavier Warde School.
TIM MORAN, development manager
Tim Moran joined Shapack Partners in the fall of 2015 as a Development Manager. Tim focuses on design, construction coordination, and project management of Shapack Partners projects, ensuring that projects reach their full design potential and commitment to the community while being delivered on time and on budget.
Prior to joining Shapack Partners, Tim worked at Jones Lang LaSalle as a Project Manager in the Midwest Project and Development Services variable team providing multiple services to a variety of diverse clients. His project portfolio includes high profile Workplace and Automotive Retail projects.
Tim also worked at Gensler, both in the Washington, DC and Chicago offices on a variety of Workplace, Professional Service, and Hospitality projects around the country. While at Gensler, Tim worked in design, technical, and project management roles. He was Technical Director of his studio, and co-chair of the Internship Committee.
Tim is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where he earned Bachelor of Science, Master of Architecture, and Master of Science in Civil Engineering degrees. He is an active member of CoreNet Global’s Chicago Chapter, currently serving as a Board Member. He was previously named to the 2014 CoreNet Global 36 Under 36 Young Leaders to Watch list, and also received the chapter's Young Leader of the Year award in 2013. He lives in Bucktown with his wife, son, and two Boston Terriers.
jessica feldman, senior graphic designer
Jessica Feldman joined Shapack Partners in March 2017 as a Senior Graphic Designer, bringing more than 4 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining Shapack Partners, Jessica worked as a graphic designer at CBRE, both in their Chicago office and CBRE New England, an affiliate office. In her most recent role, she handled property marketing design for the entire Midwest region, working on everything from HTML email campaigns, brochures and flyers, to offering memorandums, presentations, signage, event materials, and more.
Jessica brings a wide range of experience to Shapack Partners, having also worked in magazine publishing in New York City, for GreenGale Publishing (formerly Niche Media). Jessica has a BS in Communications from Boston University where she majored in Advertising. She grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and lives in Wicker Park with her husband.
Gabriel Escaba, construction Manager
Gabriel Escaba joined Shapack Partners in summer 2017 as a Construction Manager. Gabriel manages all construction activities from pre-development to turnover. His responsibilities include working hand-in-hand with the design team to find creative solutions that meet financial and design objectives, while satisfying the company's budget and schedule requirements.
Prior to joining Shapack Partners, Gabriel was a Project Manager at LG Construction & Development Group with a focus on hospitality and retail projects. Gabriel also worked for Skanska's Healthcare Division, overseeing the construction of hospitals in New York City.
Gabriel graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Construction Management. He was born in Mexico City, grew up seaside in San Diego and has lived and worked in Boston and New York before relocating to Chicago.
Kate Patterson, accounting manager
Kate Patterson joined Shapack Partners in the spring of 2017 as the Accounting Manager. Kate is responsible for overseeing accounting operations. She brings more than 10 years of diverse financial reporting, internal control, and tax experience. Kate is distinguished by her energetic demeanor and knack for improving processes that benefit both internal and external business partners.
Prior to joining Shapack Partners, Kate worked as a Senior Associate for a private family office, overseeing accounting for over 40 entities. Kate also worked at Junction Solutions, a provider of software and consulting solutions, where she led the accounting team, performed multiple HR functions, and assisted in an ERP system transition.
Kate is a native of Chicago and a volunteer with Ladder Up, a provider of free tax return preparation for underserved Chicago-area residents.
Jared rubin, analyst
Jared Rubin joined Shapack Partners in February 2017 as an Analyst. Jared’s responsibilities include the evaluation, structuring and due diligence of acquisitions as well as the asset management of Shapack Partners portfolio assets.
Prior to joining Shapack Partners, Jared worked at KPMG as an Associate in the Real Estate Valuation group focusing on the valuation of various property types including retail, hospitality, multifamily, industrial and more. At KPMG he valued over $1 billion of real estate in markets all over the world. Jared began his real estate career as an intern with The NRP Group, a national multifamily developer based in Cleveland, OH.
Jared graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a BS in Finance-Real Estate. He is originally from Cleveland, OH and has lived in Chicago since graduating from Indiana University.
grace sebring, executive assistant
Grace Sebring joined Shapack Partners in 2017 as Office Manager and Executive Assistant. Grace assists all management level employees on administrative matters.
Prior to joining Shapack Partners, Grace worked at Vornado Realty Trust | Merchandise Mart Properties, where she acted as Leasing Coordinator and provided leasing and administrative support to the office, retail, and showroom leasing teams. Grace also worked at Bradford Allen Realty Services, a boutique Chicago commercial real estate firm, where she held various roles including office manager, executive assistant, and office leasing broker.
Grace graduated from DePaul University with a B.A. in Journalism. Originally from Cincinnati, Grace has lived in Chicago for 11 years and resides in Bucktown with her husband and their dog.
